My FIRST-EVER blog

OK, OK.......here I am and here IT is......my first-ever blog. My wife is doing it, my friends are doing it and I was very hesitant in starting my own blog-site. (Is that the terminology....or do I sound like a nerd)? Anyway, here it goes;

So after getting over the fact that I thought blogging was a little "gay" and so is talking about yourself for all to read.....and laugh.....I suddenly realized that blogging is also talking about your joys and thoughts. Of course, Aisling and I already have a frequently updated website for my pride and joy in life, my 15 month-old triplet sons. However, this is different. While, yes, I will talk about them A LOT, I can also share other aspects of my life and thoughts including my fears and concerns of partaking in such a wonderful responsability of raising 3 boys. (Especially knowing the boy their father was, a GAMBLE boy)?! If they have to deal with all the girls falling at their feet like I did.............OK, more like the rejection and disappointments I dealt with growing up. (Then again, have you SEEN my boys......SO CUTE......but there's more to life than charm and good looks, lol).

So, where do I actually start in regards to the content of my FIRST blog? I guess I kind of already have.......but here is my first point; my boys are tremendously COOL! A and I waited almost 9 long years to have our first kid(s), and now I can hardly believe how fast they are growing and developing personality. God has truly blessed me with Connolly, Joshua and Keegan, and blessed me even more with a wife that takes such AWESOME care of them when I am slugging away at work. (Not to mention put up with a guy like me for almost 10 years now......Yes, despite the previously mentioned Gamble trait of charm and good looks, I do have my pitfalls).

The boys are only a few weeks away from truly walking all on their own with confidence. Keegan and Josh do well for 10-15 steps already on their own. Connolly, as usual, will walk when he feels like it....probably out of the blue. We are especially looking forward to our newly acquired travel trailer with all the comforts of home (in about 17.2 feet). Our first official camping trip will be the labor day weekend, and I have already booked a 10 day trip to the lakes in Manitoba to visit with my parents sister and her family for next July. Let the fun and cherished memories begin for us and the boys!

Well, I don't know how often I'll be posting on my newly opened blog, but I guess I should say one last thing for this round. I LOVE my life, I LOVE my boys & wife and I am determined to tell my boys everyday just how proud I am of them already! I will always be there for them, financially, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. I know God will take care of them, and us. And, above all, I know that they will be successful in EVERYTHING they desire to do. I will remind them of that too. GOD is SO GREAT!! That despite my failures and my struggles, he gave me such a beautiful family. (Now I might be a little biast, but the cutest boys around bar none)!

So that's it for now....Don't know when I'll be back. So, just in case......GO BOMBERS.......GO JAYS.......GO FLAMES.......RAPTORS - WHO CARES!

Later,
