Gonna be a COZY week-end with family...

Our second camping trip in our trailer will be this week-end near Drumheller. (Close to the Dinosaur Museum). It looks like a great spot with an in-ground heated pool on-site.

Only one problem, it appears today (at 21 celsius) may be the last of the summer-like weather. So far the forecast for Friday is plus 4 and rain?! One can hope the weatherman is off, and Drumheller (in a valley), is a tad warmer. Either way we are going to enjoy it. It is SOOOO COOL what a confined space can do to help you bond with wife and kids....especially when kids are sleeping.....never mind.

It should be interesting because now all the boys are walking confidently. Wish us luck!!

This week has been busy, and as happens, lunch-dates have been cancelled or re-scheduled. Hopefully things will be a little calmer come next week.

One thing I know for sure, having just past the 5-year anniversary of 9/11, I am greatful for my home, grateful for my kids, and grateful for my wife. I am also incredibly grateful for living in a great country (CANADA in case you forgot) that is free and champions the cause of democracy around the world. Let us be supportive of our troops and fellow Americans abroad in their efforts to rid the world of nutty extremists who give Islaam a bad reputation. (As mis-guided as they may/may not be).

One of the most touching stories of remembrance for me is an entire family, husband, wife and less than 1-year-old daughter, aboard the first plane to slam in to the tower............how sad.....could not imagine the anger I would feel. I am also thankful that the powers-that-be are level-headed in their approach to this war on terror.

Love while you can people, love while you can.....
